A nice drive up McKenzie Pass.

Well we went for another Sunday drive last week and it has taken me a while to post the pics. We drove up between Mt. Washington and the North Sister. I thought it would be all ruggid and covered with trees but when we got up about 17 miles North of Sisters, it was a Lava field. It reminded me of Craters of the Moon in Idaho. It was really cool, they built a observitory out of lava rock. We drove up past this spot and found a pretty little lake in the trees. I can't wait to get a good telephoto lens for my camera so I can get a better shot of the Mountians.

Pumpkin Fun

Last yr. my crafty Sister Jenne made some really cute pumkins. I got some fall fabric and made my own. They turned out pretty cute.

This is my favorite look for Harry.

You know what's funny? As most of you know I was trapped in a fire over 20 yrs ago and saved by a fireman. I have always had a thing for them so it's fitting that I married one. I love seeing Harry in all his fire garb. "Turn-Out Gear" is what he calls it but I like to call it his Fire OutFit. HEHE... He does not ever know when he is my object of OBSESSION... I mean Affection :o)

Sunday Drive

We decided to head up to Black Butte today after Conference. It is about 5 miles out side of Sisters which is about 20 miles away. Black Butte is a cinder cone and you can drive to the trail head which is about 2 miles from the top. We started hiking up and made it more then half way when we decided to head back down. My battery died when we got to a point where the views were worth pictures. Here are a few pics I did get from today.
