My Big Baby.
Bella is getting bigger everyday. I think she grows everytime I leave the house. She loves to lay by her water bowl and her ears are usually in the water.

Bella and her Baby
Ok I know you will probably all get sick of puppy posts but sorry. I have a new puppy... I found a stuffed animal after the vet tech said to get a baby for Bella to sleep with, so she will not cry so much at bed time. We will see how it goes tonight. Harry has been really cute with her, it's fun to see him go gaagaa over a little furry animal.

Bella and BubbleGum
We just brought her home last night and she is a dream puppy. But I'm sure that we are in for it. I am loving every minute of this. Her tounge is out all the time and I think it looks like Bubble Gum. We love her.... I am so lucky.

Patients and Prayers
Well the house we were going to move into this week fell through. I will not be posting anymore houses on here until we move. The terms of the house kept changing and after seeing the market drop and drop we think we can do better for the dollar. I have been feeling sick for a few days and when we decided that this house was not going to work I felt better almost instantly. I think with patients and prayer we will find the perfect house for us. We are still getting our puppy though. I can't wait until Friday for Bella to come home.

The Secret Life Of Bee's
After I got off work today I was able to go to a movie with a girlfriend. Oh my gosh it was so good. I highly reccomend it. The movie was just as good as the book.

A nice drive up McKenzie Pass.
Well we went for another Sunday drive last week and it has taken me a while to post the pics. We drove up between Mt. Washington and the North Sister. I thought it would be all ruggid and covered with trees but when we got up about 17 miles North of Sisters, it was a Lava field. It reminded me of Craters of the Moon in Idaho. It was really cool, they built a observitory out of lava rock. We drove up past this spot and found a pretty little lake in the trees. I can't wait to get a good telephoto lens for my camera so I can get a better shot of the Mountians.

This is my favorite look for Harry.
You know what's funny? As most of you know I was trapped in a fire over 20 yrs ago and saved by a fireman. I have always had a thing for them so it's fitting that I married one. I love seeing Harry in all his fire garb. "Turn-Out Gear" is what he calls it but I like to call it his Fire OutFit. HEHE... He does not ever know when he is my object of OBSESSION... I mean Affection :o)

Sunday Drive
We decided to head up to Black Butte today after Conference. It is about 5 miles out side of Sisters which is about 20 miles away. Black Butte is a cinder cone and you can drive to the trail head which is about 2 miles from the top. We started hiking up and made it more then half way when we decided to head back down. My battery died when we got to a point where the views were worth pictures. Here are a few pics I did get from today.

We have a 1st Day of School too.
Today was Harry's very first day of College. He has a few credits from other courses, but has never been to "College". I am so proud of him for wanting to make more of his career. I know he can do this, and I know that he will be a GREAT SCHOOL BOY. hehe.
I wanted to take a pic of him with a back pack on and a lunch box but he did not think that was a great idea. I still vision it. So cute.

Sunday Drive
We went for a little drive today after church. We went north about 20 miles to
Billy Chinook Reservoir. It was really pretty, reminded me of Lucky Peak just out of Boise. Harry and I are spending less time together these days with our hrs at work so we have tried to just spend alone time on Sunday. I mean alone time as in no Computers, or TV to distract us paying attention to each other. I just can't express how happy we are here in this part of the country. I know Harry miss' Missouri and his family, I miss his Family too, but not Missouri. LOL sorry Harry. Here are some pics of the reservoir.

House Hunting.
If you looked on my blog a day ago you would have seen the house we made an offer on. Well the offer was not accepted, and I think we are almost relieved but still a little disappointed, but I think it's for the best. We are going to wait for a few more months to watch the market, and maybe get a better deal. The prices are really coming down in our area. A yr ago we would not have been able to even think about buying a house. I hope the house fairies are looking down on us.

I CAN be a Domestic Goddess.
My very first attempt at canning was a success. Except I am not very patient and could not wait to open the canner to see what happen in there. Harry had to read me the instructions several times so I could understand the timing and all that jazz. We did our peaches today, and I will do the nectarines tomorrow. It was fun and not as bad I thought it would be. Now I remind myself of my Grandma Smart. She made us eat all her canned fruit, hmmmmm but I don't remember really liking it that much. But I'm sure I will LOVE my own.
Why do they call it canning? The peaches are in jars..... ;o)

Day trip to Mt. Bachelor.
Harry and I took a drive up to Mt. Bachelor, it was such a pretty day, we were able to ride the chair lift to the top and the sites were so pretty. It was a little chilly, and some snow and ice on the ground, but it was worth it. I wish everyone we love could come see this with us.

Poor Betsy
I hit a really big bump on my route the other day and knocked the muffler out , and I just wanted everyone to know that I married Mr. HandyMan. Harry can fix anything, I really think he can. I love this guy.
