I am officially employeed by the United States Postal Service. I have been in training all week. There is going to be so much to remember, I am worried that I won't get it all. Wish me luck. Me and Betsy the Wonder Jeep get to hang out all the time now. Wooooohooooo

Memorial Weekend in Spokane.

We had so much fun this past weekend with the Smart Family in Spokane. Jenne, my Mom and I went to see Carrie Underwood in concert and it was great. The opening act was Josh Turner and man he is a doll. Cute pictues of them on Jenne's Blog. Here are a few pictures of the weekend. Harry in princess shoes that a little princess made him wear.


Harry tried out his lumber jack skills this weekend too. My Dad had a leaning tree that he needed to get rid of and Harry cut it down.

We drove up to Manito Park on the South Hill and walked through the Japanese Garden, and one last pic of a pretty flower from the front yard at the cabin.

I want to wish all the Mothers in my life a Happy Mothers Day. Everyone that looks at this bolg are wonderful Mom's. I love each and everyone of you.

I love being a mother. Beautiful Daughters bring you such joy. I love the daughters in my life and I would not trade this life for anything. I am so thankful for everything I have.

When I got up this morning Harry had some beautiful flower waiting for me.

Harry went to the Oregon Fire Fighters Instructor Seminar this past weekend and I was not able to attend because of work. I have been away from home for 2 weeks and have 4 days to go. But Harry sent me a picture of him in his Class A Uniform and he looks so handsome. I can't wait to get home. I miss my HUBBY.

And Finally, this is a picture of the Nauvoo Temple that was taken on a trip to Nauvoo a few years ago. We had the photo cropped and worked on to make it look really old. It turned out really cool. This is where Harry and I got married.

A Week in San Diego

I just spent the longest week of my life in CA. I wish I would have had time to go see the sights but I spent every day from sun up to sun down in the salons. I was able to go to Imperial Beach for about 5 min. Nice sign if you are going to go for a swim.





This was from the plane while landing in LA, the fog was super thick and you could see just the tops of the buildings through the clouds. It was really cool, I have never seen anything like that.

Ya Hoooooo!!!! I got my camera!

I finally got my camera. We bought it on Ebay and it was deliverd today. I can't wait to go and take it out to take pictures with. And I can't wait to show you all....

I got the BUGG...

Well here is the best money I think I have ever spent. (Harry does not agree) It is the Body Bugg. Instead of joining Weight Watchers again I thought I would do this. This little device tells you exactly how many calories you burn in a 24hr period.

You log onto there web site and log your food and then sync the Body Bugg to your PC and it will tell you how many calories you have left to burn that day to loose weight. On WW you log your food same as here but WW does not tell you how many calories you are burning. Today is my first day and I should be at my goal by Aug. Just in time for my 20 year High School reunion. I will keep you all posted with my progress. I am already down about 35 (it was 45) but gained a few lbs from last yr, but still have about 65 to go. Wish me luck.

The Portland Temple

Harry and I drove over to Portland on Friday for the day. We had a great drive, the roads were great. We went to the book store and to the temple. I love all the time I can spend with my sweetheart.

Finally getting my OR drivers license, Harry said "That is a good mug shot"

Ok so I go and take the test yesterday to get my drivers license. And guess what, I FLUNKED. Not just by a few but by a lot. So I take the book home and try to read it over as best I can. So today I get up and get ready to take it again.. I do my hair and makeup really cute for my photo cuz I know I will pass this time. Well I did, and I only missed 1 today. So I get over in the photo spot and the guy says look just below the lense. I do and I try to give my best smile. Well, flash, no warning and that's it. He hands me my temporary license and I look at the photo and I look like I am stoned out of my mind. I told him that I needed another photo and he said "once it is printed that's the one I get". For 8 YRS. So guess what, I have to loose this new one to get another one. And that will cost me more money. I went to Walgreens for my passport photo and that one turned out really cute. I have waited for so long to get this done and now I look high. The lady at the DMV said. "it looks just like you" I said "YEAH, if i was HIGH". I hate getting my license.

I spent the past 10 days out of town and on my drive to Medford and on to Portland I could not believe how deep the snow was. Here are few Pics of the sides of the road. I love my new job, I had a long 10 days but made lots of progress and learned lots. I love training on the Supersalon software.

I started my new job... Love it.
