Britts in Oregon to Visit.... Woooohoooo

I drove to Portland on Wed to pick up Brittany and Mike from the airport. It was a pretty fast drive only took about 3.5 hrs. From the airport we went to the Coast about 1.5 hrs from Portland. Oh man that day the coast was beautiful. Cold but pretty. We had fun looking for shells and getting our feet wet. Friday we went to the Lava cave again. We took lots of pictures inside the cave. Saturday we drove to Crater Lake and that view will never get boring. We drove all the way around the rim and saw the lake from all different angles. It was still breath taking. Here are few photos from our visit so far.

Views that WOWed me.

Well Kelcey is headed back to Missouri on Tues. so there was one more place that we really wanted to see before she left. We went to Crater Lake, just 2 hrs south of Bend. It is the deepest lake in the USA and probably the most beautiful view I have ever seen, it was breath taking.

The lake is at the top of a volcano and it is almost 2000 feet deep. There is only one way to climb down but it is very steep and when you get down if you want to swim they say that you will only last in the water for a few seconds, the water is freezing. It is the bluest blue I have ever seen.

At the top of the crater there was still snow, I'm not sure if it all melts before it snows again. Harry and Kelcey were able to have a snowball fight at the end of June.
